Oh, the can of worms has been opened. And how succulent and juicy they are!
First things first: I receive so much life in every moment. I want to give, give, give!
Experiments in Economic Accessibility: Healing, especially "alternative healing" is often quite expensive and out of reach for a lot of people. It is seldom covered by health insurance companies. I am thrilled by all sorts of economic alternatives that brave trail blazers are trying out. Gift-economy is one I'm grateful to experience for myself.
Life is a gift.
No, really. This isn't just a nice thought. It's a practical reality. The oxygen trees exhale, the water that refreshes our cells, the earth that gives nourishment, the sun that shines smiles and vitamin D and warmth--we rely on gifts to survive and thrive. Wow. I am astounded!
Healing is a gift.
It's a literal truth that our bodies heal themselves constantly, and miraculous healing takes place regularly. Commodifying such a vital, wild and apparent gift is an unfortunate by-product of a monetized world. I seek creative ways to reclaim our inherent healing capabilities and empower people to claim them for themselves. Plus, I received these tools and proclivities towards healing as a gift. I want to share!
Reclaiming Gratitude and Abundance.
It keeps me on my game. I gotta walk the talk of gratitude and generosity. I am challenged to actively trust in life's ability and desire to support me. And I'll take it. It keeps life exciting!
Be the Change
Our current economic system is non-functional, to say the least. I want to move (back) toward a sustainable gift economy. So I'm lending myself the leading experimental edge to see what works in this wily, curvy meantime of transition. Click here to watch a tingle-inducing video about this very topic.
